The arrival of a new airline on the lines between the United States and Europe is always a small event. But when this inauguration comes in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, it becomes a matter of astonishment and congratulations. It happened Thursday, with the arrival in London of the first transatlantic flight of an American sky star, the low cost JetBlue. Part of New York-JFK in the evening, the JetBlue Airbus A321neo touched down at London-Heathrow in the morning.
All the tickets on sale for this inaugural flight have found a taker, said the general manager of the airline, Robin Hayes. The latter plans to launch flights to London from Boston (Massachusetts), at rates theoretically lower than those of its competitors, American, United, Delta, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
