On August 15, 2021 you launch Astrosens. How did you choose the day?
Daniela Simulescu, DCNews and Astrosens astrologer: August 15 sounds like an important day for Romanians, a religious holiday. But don’t think that’s the reason. Astrosens is for anyone, regardless of religion, orientation, minority. We wanted to choose a day between the New Moon on August 8 and the Full Moon on August 22. And since we broadcast the weekly horoscope on Sunday, we said to use the August 15 show.
I thank the DC Media Group team for the trust, support, respect and freedom they have given me in developing this project.
In the early days of DCNews, there were Leo people who thought you were upset about their zodiac sign. Today, you are launching your site under the sign of Leo. Did you do the astrogram?
Daniela Simulescu, DCNews and Astrosens astrologer: Of course I did the astrogram! And I’m very happy that the project has the Sun in Leo. Why? Because we aim to be in people’s preferences when looking for quality information about astrology and other similar fields. In addition, we will benefit from the boldness, courage and creativity of this sign. The followers have already gotten used to my style and realized that I have nothing personal with them, but that I just like to be ironic. I think their anger is over. I mean, I hope so!

Of course I made the astrogram of the project! I want to mention two things to readers. The moon is on the 15th of August in the sign of Scorpio, a great aspect for astrology, psychology and divinatory arts. Do you know who else has the Moon in Scorpio? The Romanian Astrogram from December 1, 1918. That is, this project feels good about what Romanians do not say, but what they want. And let’s not forget the Sun in house 10. I like to say that Astrosens will change the perception of astrology. Astrologers do not guess, as many Romanians believe, but offer new tools of knowledge, studied over thousands of years.

Astrology has such a large audience, as evidenced by those who follow your astrological predictions every day, we are talking about tens of thousands of people, every day. And yet, there are people who read their zodiac sign secretly. What do you think makes them do that?
Daniela Simulescu, DCNews and Astrosens astrologer: There was a time in my life when I did the same. Why? I confessed at the age of 14 and the priest told me it was a great sin. But I grew up, I became freer and I changed. That is one of the reasons. That is, education, mentality. Another would be that people think their loved ones will laugh at them.
Or hypocrisy.
In the years already spent at DCNews, what do you think are people’s needs for astrology and what are you preparing them for?
Daniela Simulescu, DCNews and Astrosens astrologer: The level of uncertainty has increased alarmingly, especially in 2020. People need guidance, answers, directions. They don’t have enough of what they knew, their trust has been deceived, the world has changed. So they started looking in other areas for confirmation, validation and motivation.
