The charming Slovenian cellist arrives in early September for two concerts in Bulgaria – on 6.09. in Varna and on 7.09. in the Ancient Theater – Plovdiv. He will be accompanied by the Bulgarian pianist Evgeni Genchev – a recently established collaboration between the two young musicians.
We know Luka Shulic more than the explosive couple with the Croatian Spetan Hauser – 2CELLOS, blew up the biggest halls in the world and captivated the emotions of the audience with a unique virtuosity of cellists and the brave combinations between classic and crossover. When they last came to Bulgaria in 2017, they filled Arena Armeec.

He and Hauser are many strong and different as individuals, but at the same time create the star combination 2CELLOS.
They both have a desire to develop independently as artists and create individual projects, as this does not preclude to collect periodically in the approved star combination 2 CELLOS.
What we don’t know, however, about Luka Shulic:
He is the first musician in history who fully performed “The four Seasons“by Vivaldi in a cello arrangement.Luke writes the arrangements himself at the boroque concerts, and this project took him 2 years while touring with 2 CELLOS.
As a result of this enormous work, he was born his first solo album “The four Seasons” of Vivaldi /2019 /, which debuts as № 1 in the ranking of Billboard Classical Albums Chart in the USSR.

A 15-year-old becomes one of the youngest students, once studied at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, graduating at the age of 18. He then studied music in Vienna and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
With or Without Youon U2 is his favorite song when he’s in a romantic mood. When he is angry – he erupts with Thunderstruck on AC/DC, of course! The song with which he and Stepan Hauser blow up the scenes.
He says that will never leave the classics, but admires AC / DC, in addition to his special passion for film music, which is included in his repertoire – songs from Game of Thrones, New Cinema Paradiso, Amelie Poulenc, Shallow.
