Two people were rescued by the fire brigade from a house at Jacob Catskade in West this morning. There was a fire in the house.

The fire brigade received a report of a spreading fire just after 8:00 am and went to the scene with several units. There, the two people were freed from the house with a ladder.
The two were not seriously injured, but were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation. The fire was quickly brought under control, but a spokeswoman could not say anything about the cause.
