Tennis fans are biting our nails to see if Rafael Nadal will be present at the US Open which begins on August 30 in the characteristic complex of Flushing Meadows in New York.
The Spanish winner of 20 Grand Slam titles, withdrew from the Cincinnati tournament a day after exiting the Toronto tournament, so his participation in the United States Open is in doubt.
Nadal has a left foot injury that has bothered him since that semi-final match he lost at Roland Garros to Djokovic last June.
US Open could be the tiebreaker of the ‘Big 3’
The public is very excited about the US Open because it could be the tournament that breaks the historic mark of the ‘Big 3’.

Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer each own 20 Grand Slam titles and although the US Open is perhaps the one that has shown the least hegemony by any of these tennis giants, Federer and Nadal, they know that they could be their last chances to hang the glory.
Of the three great tennis players, the one who has won the most times is Roger Federer with five, Nadal has done it four times and Djokovic in three.
