Microsoft Teams is adding a new feature that will make meeting management easier.
A feature that will allow administrators to block entry when meeting time is met or the number of requested participants has been reached.
Now you can block Teams meetings from Windows 10
Microsoft Teams already has many options that make it easy to manage different meeting details. For example, it has a simple dynamic so that administrators can accept or reject users who want to participate in their meetings.
However, Microsoft wants to further simplify this process with a new feature for those managing Teams meetings from Windows 10. This new feature will make it easier for administrators to lock or unlock meetings.
For example, if the meeting start time is met, the administrator can block it from entering. That is, not even invited users will be able to join the meeting. Or if they have a maximum capacity for the meeting, they can block it when the agreed number of participants arrive.
This will prevent administrators from waiting to approve or deny entry to new users, and they will be able to take care of other details of the meeting. To block a Microsoft Teams meeting from Windows 10 it only takes a few steps.
It is only necessary to enter the “Participants” tab from the toolbar and select “Block”. Microsoft Teams will show you a message explaining that this action will prevent users from joining the meeting, but that invitees will still be able to access the chat, recording, or any other content that is shared during the video conference.
And to unblock the meeting you have to follow the same steps, and users will automatically have free access to enter the video conference. A simple and practical dynamic that can be easily implemented from Windows 10.
