Lelystad: phosphine ships not dangerous for local residents

Phosphine is used to disinfect cargo so that no vermin can get to it. It is put in the hold in the form of pills. An earlier measurement on the ships found 300 to 400 phosphine particles per unit. The substance is dangerous from a concentration of 0.5 parts per unit. It is unclear how the concentration of phosphine in the vessels could become so high.
