MAASEIK – “The prices in the Netherlands are absurd. Everyone complains about it. I’m really hearing from more and more people that they really don’t want to fill up in the Netherlands anymore,” says Frans Schäfer, while he fills both his tank and two jerry cans in Maaseik, Belgium, with petrol for 1.45 euros per liter.
