In Germany, the vaccination results of more than 8,500 residents of the district of Friesland (federal state of Lower Saxony) were called into question due to the actions of an unscrupulous nurse. Local health officials discovered that a vaccination center employee was substituting saline for the Pfizer vaccine.

The nurse then explained her actions by the fact that she accidentally broke the ampoule with the drug and wanted to hide it.
After that, more than 100 people who were vaccinated that day were checked using antibody tests. Police and prosecutors have since investigated the case.
Now local authorities do not exclude that the nurse changed the vaccine in other cases, from March 5 to April 20. In total, 8557 people could receive saline instead of the drug, including many people over 70 years old. They are all offered to re-register for vaccinations.
The motives for possible manipulation of vaccines are not yet clear. However, the police confirmed media reports that the above-mentioned nurse on social networks was critical of the situation with the coronavirus and criticized the government’s measures.
