“For me, the pandemic was an opportunity to take a break that I would not have had otherwise,” said Mette-Marit in the Sommer i P2 program of Norwegian public broadcaster NRK. She says that it occasionally gnawed that as a chronically ill she could no longer do everything she wanted.
“I didn’t have to this year. I was able to do everything at my own pace. The days when I felt bad, I was able to rest without feeling bad about it. It’s strange that I feel better now than in the past years.”
