Dr dr Isman Firdaus, SpJP(K), said heart patients do not need to ask a cardiologist for recommendations to take vaccinations Covid-19.
He said, as long as heart patients feel their condition is stable and under control in the last two weeks, vaccination is safe to do.
“There is no need to ask a cardiologist for recommendations,” said Dr. Isman in a talk show with the Tribun Network, Monday (9/8/2021).
Dr Isman said that all this time, heart patients were worried about receiving the Covid-19 vaccination, so they needed approval from a cardiologist.

“You don’t need to go to a cardiologist to make sure. If it’s fixed and we’re sure, two weeks later, we’ll just go home from treatment, especially since the ring has been installed, please just be vaccinated,” he said.
He said, during this pandemic, heart patients become a vulnerable condition if infected Covid-19.
In addition to strictly adhering to health protocols and discipline, heart patients must also be protected by vaccination Covid-19.
“So heart patients, patients with heart disease, whether it’s heart failure, post ring installation or coronary heart disease, are vulnerable individuals that we need to protect by implementing health protocols and vaccinations,” he said.
The stable condition in cardiac patients is the condition that there are no complaints of shortness of breath, angina pain / discomfort in the chest, easily tired, limited physical activity, palpitations, swollen legs and decreased consciousness.
