Many Swedes have applied for covid certificates to be able to travel abroad. According to Ekot, 2.5 million certificates have now been issued.
The pressure has been strong since the evidence became available on July 1. Since Thursday, certificates are also issued showing that you are healthy, a so-called proof of recovery.
– It is unnecessary to burden the system if you do not intend to use the covid certificate, says Michel Silvestri at the E-health authority to Ekot.
The certificate is free to pick up and valid for 90 days.
