Kudiová confessed in court to the unintentional killing of her daughter Asiah, whom she left unattended in the apartment for a total of 5 days, 21 hours and 58 minutes. During this time she went to London and Coventry, where she carelessly celebrated her eighteenth birthday.

“Your daughter was helpless, she relied entirely on you as her mother to provide for her basic needs,” said Judge Christine Laing. “It’s almost unbearable to think about the suffering she suffered when you celebrated your birthday as a carefree teenager,” the judge added, sending Kudiova behind bars for nine years.

On December 5, 2019, the young British woman left Brighton for London, where she celebrated her birthday with her boyfriend. Two days later, she attended a concert in the British capital, where she had a DJ announce that she was celebrating a birthday. Two days later, she moved to Coventry for a birthday party, returned to London the next day and did not return home until December 11, the BBC reported.

Flu and starvation
When Kudiová discovered her daughter’s body at home, she called the emergency line and said that her child would not wake up. Shortly afterwards, paramedics discovered that the child was not breathing, and soon after being transported to the hospital, the girl was declared dead. According to the ambulance crew, her mother was “scattered and upset.”

The autopsy results, which were ordered, show that the child died as a result of the flu and starvation. Signs of dehydration and severe rash from unchanged diapers were noted.

According to the indictment, Kudiová also neglected her daughter’s upbringing in the past, yet the British claimed at the first interrogation that she had been with her daughter at all times. However, she was convicted by footage from security cameras and messages from the phone.
