After the match in Jablonec, which ended in a 2: 2 draw, Bohemians coach Luděk Klusáček pointed out the presence of the home owner Miroslav Pelta in the referees’ cabin.
In a post-match interview for O2 TV Sport, the “kangaroos” coach stated that Pelta was visiting the judges during the half-time break.
“What strikes me is that the owner of the club in the referees’ cabin is at half time. I just don’t understand that,” Klusáček pointed out an ethically problematic event, which is also prohibited by the rules of the highest football competition.
“I mean Mr. Pelt. How do I know? We met him there, we came across him directly,” the Prague coach added to the online press conference.
The Jablonec team lost 0: 1 after half-time, they turned the score in the second half, but in the fourth minute the setting was equalized by Jan Kovařík from the penalty to the final 2: 2. “The remark is apt. That I said that Mr. Pelta was in the judges’ cabin at half-time is not a critique of the judges or any judging. But it is something I do not understand as possible,” Klusáček said.
“Does it sound normal to you? I feel like a problem. It’s not just about Mr. Pelt. We come across things that aren’t good and football suffers from it. It’s a mess of all Czech football,” added the 54-year-old former Slavia or Liberec player.
The situation in the television studio was also criticized by expert and former football player Jan Rajnoch.
“It’s good to be pointed out. This looks really stupid. Even though Mr. Pelta didn’t have to do anything wrong there, he shouldn’t afford it. There’s an effort to clean up the football and get the credit back, and then you’ll find out something like that.” said.
“It’s like someone is throwing sticks at your feet. You won’t explain it to people. I’m so sorry. They’ll be speculating again, people will swear at me and I’m not surprised,” Rajnoch added.
At the press conference after the match, the home coach Petr Rada was also asked about a controversial moment. He reacted emotionally.
“I don’t care, don’t push this into me. As you can ask, you’re kidding. I take care of the manchaft, don’t get me involved. Let the trotter take care of things he doesn’t care about,” Rada shouted.
“Watch the video before the penalty against us, that he was turned over, that we should have thrown it. In my whole life, do not drag me into any speculation. How can you want to hear it from me? Hergot, it annoys me,” added Jablonec coach.
FK Jablonec spokesman Martin Bergman explained the whole case on social networks as follows:
On Mr. Klusáček’s statement to O2 TV: The owner of the club went to the referees to apologize for the overly irritated behavior of coach Petr Rada, and subsequently he also went to direct him to the home cabin.

Klusáček did not like the penalties that Judge Klíma ordered only after the intervention of video referee Ondřej Berka. First, at 0: 1, the home team played a penalty kick after a duel between goalkeeper Hugo Jan Bačkovský and Václav Pilař, and in the setting, at a score of 2: 1, the guests for Tomáš Hübschman’s intervention.
“Before the season, everyone told us that the VAR (video referee) should enter the matches in case of clear mistakes. I don’t know if these were the cases. It’s up to the referees to judge, I didn’t think so. he did not see, but I assume it was a similar procedure as from us, “said Klusáček.
“I don’t see this as a clear mistake. We’re starting to intervene in the field, which is good. Is it a European trend. But for such easy contacts penalties? Then they will be in every match. and the jury, “he added.
