The novinky.cz server pointed this out. Bank spokeswoman Jana Pokorná said that the company is solving problems intensively, but it is not yet clear how long it will take. Problems from Saturday night are also being solved by another domestic bank, Equa Bank.
“We are currently facing an outage of online banking. At the same time, all card payments are now verified offline,” the bank said on Twitter. She also noted that payments made at the time of the outage will not be credited to my account at this time.
“We are dealing intensively with the outage of online banking. At the moment, I do not have a specific date when the outage will be resolved. We are really sorry about the situation and we apologize to our clients,” said Pokorná.

Equa Bank also experienced problems on Sunday night. She had to shut down her banking systems unplanned, as the wrong amounts began to appear on her clients’ accounts on Saturday. Now the systems are working again, bank spokeswoman Kateřina Petko told ČTK this afternoon. Errors in the displayed amounts ranged in the millions of crowns, said one of the bank’s clients. The bank continues to work on solving the problem.
Air Bank is part of the PPF Group. According to data from the end of March, Air Bank had 876,890 clients. The number of current accounts has approached one million. The bank belongs to the Air Bank group, which, in addition to the banking house itself, also includes the Benxy company and the Czech and Slovak Home Credit. Last year, this group generated a net profit of CZK 1.5 billion. This is a year-on-year decrease of 15.6 percent.
