I recently found out that globally, Xiaomi is blowing the neck of Samsung’s leader, while In Europe, the Chinese company has already surpassed the South Korean manufacturer. We are talking about statistics valid for the second quarter of 2021, ie the sales period April – June.
Just a few hours ago, we received a press release that presents statistics for the same period in Romania. In our country, Xiaomi came in first with a market share of 30% (+ 205% vs. the same period in 2020), while Samsung came in second with a market share of 26% (-54% vs. the same period in 2020).
Notice that Oppo or Lenovo (Motorola) are lagging behind with an increase of 428% and 103%, respectively. At Apple, the situation is not alarming, even if we have a 28% decrease.
It is interesting to note that in Central and Eastern Europe, Xiaomi has become the market leader in countries such as Russia, Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Slovakia, Lithuania and more recently Romania.
