ANSVSA announces, on Tuesday, that between September 5-16, the sanitary-veterinary inspectors carried out controls in slaughterhouses, grocery stores, butchers, supermarkets and milk dispensers, in Bucharest and 26 counties.
According to the quoted source, the inspectors collected 115 samples of meat (minced mutton, minced beef, small mixed pasta, beef burger, beef pulp, beef pastrami, mixed homemade sausages, beef antricot) and milk and dairy products (sheep’s milk, cow’s milk, raw cow’s milk, cheese, raw goat’s milk, sour cream, fresh cottage cheese, fresh cow’s cheese, cow’s yogurt, goat’s milk cheese).
Inspectors show that the verotoxigenic E.Coli bacterium was detected in four samples taken from small (mixed beef / sheep), from a restaurant in Giurgiu county, fresh house, from a milk processing center in Vaslui county, from minced meat of beef, from a butcher’s shop in Iasi county and from a sheep carcass (sanitation test), from a slaughterhouse in Timis.
“As a result, the County Veterinary Sanitary and Food Safety Directorates carried out official controls at the units where the incriminated products were detected and traded and ordered the measures provided in the National Control Plan.
