Many Players Boycott Pokemon Go, Why?

In his letter, community members Pokemon Go voiced his disappointment with Niantic’s decision to remove the existing changes, especially reducing the range of interaction between players.

The community argues that a wider interaction radius contributes to a way of playing that is safer, more accessible, and doesn’t require players to enter dangerous areas, cross boundaries, or block entrances.

“Some of these changes will continue to be implemented in the future, such as the ability to attack remotely, changes to the Go Battle League, and an increase in the distance at which you can play Photo Discs in gyms and Poke Stops,” the community said in its letter.
