GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals is located in the heart of the city of Dresden and manufactures flu vaccines for the world market: The seasonal vaccine is sold in around 70 countries. In addition to the production of seasonal and pandemic flu vaccines, the filling and packaging of other liquid vaccines completes the portfolio of the Dresden plant. Around 750 employees plus trainees work at this location.
