The two-part travel report by ZDF correspondent Johannes Hano makes it clear how diverse the world’s second largest country in terms of area is: Hano shows the most remote places and the cultural centers of this country. He and his team are in Canada for six weeks this summer. It is a “unique experience, a chance to really get to know your own country, an opportunity that will not be available again anytime soon,” enthuses John Tory, the pilot who accompanied the team the entire time. In the first part you visit Canada’s rough north, where people wrest a life from nature every day.
