They took out a package of chocolate dessert “Mars” from the sand on the beach in Nessebar. The interesting find is almost 35 years old and there is no evidence that time has affected it in any way, writes Flagman.bg.
Pictures of the package were shared on the Facebook group “Drivers Nessebar”, and users commented that it was probably a mistake, as the package looks intact.

Probably the garbage was buried in the sand by a foreign tourist even in totalitarian times, as “Mars” was an unknown dessert for the Bulgarians at that time. Nougat and caramel wrapped in soft chocolate – it was a real temptation for the senses and few had tasted it then. The first Mars was produced in 1932 in Berkshire, Great Britain.
“If you decide to throw away the packaging of the dessert or other such on the beach, think about whether it will decompose or your great-grandchildren will swim in them,” wrote the man who discovered the disturbing find.
