The Swedish mother and daughter duo Gunilla (62) and Erika Persson (19) took viewers by storm after they appeared in the popular reality series “Swedish Hollywood Wives”.
During the corona pandemic, however, the reality series’ production has stopped due to the strict restrictions on quarantine, and the Persson family has not taken the trip to their home country for a full two years for the same reason.
Strikes back at image criticism
She could still reveal that the duo would leave Los Angeles and take the trip home to Sweden in August, but could recently reveal Instagram that the return trip has been postponed until September.
This autumn, her daughter Erika will also start higher education in the sunny state, where she also got into her first choice.

– Want grandchildren
At the age of 40, Gunilla welcomed her daughter Erika, and at the same time, the former’s mother, Iris Persson (95), became seriously ill.
The Swedish Hollywood lady has previously told the website that she encourages the teenage daughter to have children earlier than her, so that the 62-year-old can help Erika with the child’s upbringing.
– What I want and say to her with a twinkle in her eye, but I also mean it, is: have children early so that I do not become a load-bearing grandmother who can not help you. The most important thing you have in life is your parents. Mom would have helped me with everything if I had gotten Erika earlier. But I made the mistake and waited too long so my mom started getting sick already when Erika was born.

Leaving home
As previously mentioned, the 19-year-old will soon leave the estate, and thus leave both mother and grandmother – with whom she currently lives.
She will begin higher education in Claremont, California, and will thus live one hour away from her family.
The celebrity daughter refers to herself as a “witch”
– I got into my first choice, Pitzer College. It is about one hour away from LA and it is one of several different universities in the same area, she tells Hänt.
The daughter has previously attracted attention on both the mother’s and her own Instagram profile, where she has, among other things received criticism for his scantily clad photos.
Here she also publishes creative and colorful posts – which is also in the style of her school choice. She says that it is a cool and liberal school, where she will be allowed to do everything she is passionate about.
Erika’s highest priority is thus first and foremost her career and the opportunity to get an outlet for her creative side, despite her mother’s strong desire for family enlargement.
