Hundreds of members DPR fraction PDIP listened carefully to Bambang Wuryanto’s directions in an internal meeting on 18 June. The meeting was held in Room KK2, Nusantara Building, DPR, Jakarta.
Bambang Wuryanto, who is familiarly called Bambang Pacul, gave directions on the installation billboard and a billboard with a picture of Puan Maharani. In addition to Bambang Pacul, the head of the Utut Adianto faction and Mrs. Maharani sit on the podium.
All meeting participants were very serious about listening to the directions because it was related to the popularity and electability of Puan Maharani, the daughter of their General Chair, Megawati Soekarnoputri. In addition, Bambang Pacul’s fiery style of delivery also makes it difficult for them to turn away.
According to one of the meeting participants, 127 members of the PDIP faction were so focused because there was an interest in preparing for the 2024 presidential election behind Puan’s billboards. After that and to this day, the public is familiar with the billboard with the face of the chairman of the DPR.
Bambang Pacul confirmed that there was a meeting regarding directions for installing billboards with a picture of Puan. However, he claimed that the mission originally came from the proposals of the cadres which were later mutually agreed upon.
In other words, the installation of Puan’s billboards did not come purely from the party’s initiative. Even so, in the end the mission of installing billboards was made formal by the party and it was necessary to carry out all members of the PDIP faction of the DPR.
“That was originally a suggestion from our faction members when we gathered on the 7th floor, then we agreed to be brought to the faction’s plenary meeting, and then it was decided together. Then if anyone perceives that it’s to raise the electoral roll, Ms. Puan, that’s fine, no problem. ” said Bambang Pacul when contacted CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday (5/8).

Party Defined Design
Regarding the design, there are two that are determined by the PDIP faction. Both types of designs have the same goal, namely to introduce and increase public memory of the figure of Puan Maharani.
The first design depicts the figure of Puan Maharani wearing a red kebaya with the words Kepak Wings of Diversity written on it. It can be found in various locations. Not even a few people have scribbled.
The second design contains a photo of Puan Maharani wearing Jambi traditional clothes with the tagline Keep Faith, Keep Immune, God willing, Amen. When asked what was the intention behind the design and tagline, Bambang Pacul said there were two issues to be conveyed through the billboards and billboards.
“The first issue is the current issue, namely the Covid-19 issue, while the future issue is that Puan Maharani wants to interpret Bhineka Tunggal Ika, that’s why she wrote Kepak Wings of Diversity, in the sense that Mbak Puan wants to invite all to work together regardless of ethnicity, religion and race,” said Bambang.
