Teheran –
Strong reaction given by the government Iran after Israel made threats to attack his country regarding attack on a tanker run by Israel near Omani waters last week. Iran has warned Israel that a firm response will be given in the event of an attack on its territory.
As reported Arab News and AFPOn Friday (6/8/2021), the spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Saeed Khatibzadeh, stated that military action against his country would receive a firm response. He called Israel’s threats “evil behavior” which is a violation of international law.
“In a shameless violation of international law, the Israeli regime is now blatantly threatening Iran with military action,” Khatibzadeh said in a statement via Twitter.
“We state this clearly: ANY foolish action against Iran will be met with a STRONG response,” he said.
“Don’t test us,” Khatibzadeh warned.
The threat of an attack on Iran was made by the Israeli Defense Minister, Benny Gantz. While speaking to a local Israeli news site, Ynet, Gantz answered a blatant ‘yes’ when asked if Israel was preparing to attack Iran.
“We are at a point where we need to take military action against Iran,” Gantz said in a statement. “The world needs to take action against Iran now,” he said.
