Zool makes a comeback in a reinterpretation “for a modern audience”

The Amiga original is dusted off.

Zool: Ninja of the Nth Dimension (which contrary to what the title suggests was devoted to 2d) was originally released to Amiga in the year of grace 1992. It was released to a number of other formats, and in 1993 we got Zool 2. Since then …? Silent. In August, however, there will be a comeback after almost 30 years in the mothballs.

Sumo Digital releases Zool Redimensioned via Steam in August, and is described as one “modern reinterpretation” of the first game. More than a remaster, in other words. Although the original was a sales success, its traces in game history are honestly not that bad.

The Ninja of the Nth Dimension is back! Explore vibrant retro landscapes, discover hidden secrets and take down menacing bosses in a modern reimagining of the classic action platforming adventure Zool.
