A nebula is an object universe in the form of clouds of gas, dust, plasma, and other cosmic particles. This object is famous for its various shapes and color spectrum. Starting from the irregular, until there is also a unique shape resembling an animal.
Not only one, nebulae that are shaped like animals are thought to be many in this universe. However, only a few have been identified or observed so far and can be counted on the fingers.
Curious as to what more details? Let’s check it out! Guess the shape, come on!
1. This is the Tarantula nebula. Reported NASA, this nebula is located in the Great Magellanic Cloud 170 thousand light -years from Earth

2. Next, the Horsehead nebula residing in the popular constellation Orion the Hunter. Can you see the shape of the horse’s head?

3. This one is the Cat’s Eye nebula. The Planets reports that the object was first observed in 1786 by William Herschel

4. Then there is the Eagle nebula which is inhabited by many amazing cosmic objects. One of them is the Pillars of Creation, as reported by Earthsky

5. Next, Crab nebula. NASA launch if this object is in the constellation Taurus which is 6,500 light years from Earth
6. Looking into the constellation Scorpius, there is a beautiful Butterfly nebula that comes from a supernova or a massive explosion of a giant star. Amazing, yes!

7. Another in the constellation Ursa Major, one of its inhabitants is the Owl nebula. Its distance is estimated to be 2,030 light -years from Earth
If you look closely, the shape of the nebula above does resemble an animal, yes. Given that science and research are constantly evolving, it is not impossible that more nebulae will be discovered in the future celestial objects like this. Which do you think is the most amazing?
