Tony Bradley signs with the Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have closed the incorporation of Tony Bradley under a contract for two years and the minimum salary, as reported by journalist Chris Haynes. The deal includes a player option in the second year.

The 23-year-old Bradley was selected 28th in the 2017 draft and completed his first three NBA seasons as a backup for the Utah Jazz. After several exchanges, he would end the 2020-21 season between Philadelphia and Oklahoma City, averaging 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds in a total of 42 games.

The Thunder had the option of extending a qualified offer to the center to make him a restricted free agent, but chose to release him. A last year that would have meant a salary of $ 5.3 million for a player with a fairly limited role.

While not as flashy as the additions of DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso, the Bulls have secured depth and alternatives at the position of center with the arrival of Bradley.
