The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp announced this Wednesday that starting this week users can send photos and videos that can only be opened once by the recipient and then deleted.
This new function has been dubbed “See once” and the application owned by Facebook presented it as a way to move towards greater control of privacy by users, a field in which the company receives a lot of criticism.
