Portuguese international returns to Alvalade club two seasons later
Portuguese international hockey player Henrique Magalhães is back at Sporting, informed this Tuesday the national and European champion club, signaling the return of the player two seasons later.
“After two seasons at UD Oliveirense, the player returns to be commanded by Paulo Freitas again”, indicates Sporting, noting that the defender/midfielder is the second signing for the 2021/22 season.
On Monday, the club announced the arrival of João Almeida, also a player for Oliveirense in the last two seasons, and now of Henrique Magalhães, who, in his career, also represented FC Porto, the club he formed, OC Barcelos, Valongo and the Spaniards from the Liceo da Coruña.
“The titles [do Sporting] speak for themselves. The first year I left was atypical, with the pandemic the season didn’t even end, and this year Sporting won everything. It remains a great club and I come here to help,” said the player, cited by the lions.
