Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin detailed that in August and September 2021, Indonesia will receive 70 million Covid-19 vaccines. So that the total vaccines obtained by the government reached 331 million vaccines.
“The biggest vaccine will come in August-September. We will estimate 70 million,” said Budi Gunadi in a virtual press statement, Monday (2/8/2021).
According to Budi Gunadi, vaccination will be intensified in areas with high mortality rates and seven agglomeration areas such as Jabodetabek.
There will be 49 million vaccines from Sinovac in August 2021, while in September 2021 it will reach 43 million.
For AstraZeneca, 4 million will be present in August 2021 and 3.7 million in September 2021.
Pfizer’s own vaccine will be available for 1.5 million in August 2021 and 5.5 million in September 2021. Pfizer will be available more in October to December 2021 with an average of over 13 million per month.
