The creative tandem of actress Lilita Ozolina and pianist Reinis Zariņš will meet the audience at the end of August. The prepared program with Montas Kromas poetry and piano music was recently shown to the artistic director of Daile Theater Viesturs Kairišs and musical consultant Juris Vaivodas. They have given their consent to the work.

Until now, Monta Kroma’s poetry has been rather foreign to Ozolina – neither she has ever spoken it, nor has the poet been considered her author. As it is already understood, the initiative for the “Canon of Dailes” to choose Chrome poetry came from someone else – it was offered to the actress by Juris Vaivods.
After reading everything available from the poet’s work, the actress did not change her mind so soon. However, when she learned the stories about Kroma’s life, passions and friends, it became interesting for her. It turns out that the poet’s greatest friendship, love, respect is the painter Helena Heinrihsone.
“I came to the conclusion that I would try not to talk about her [Kromas] the war and the next stage, the love of the city, but I will talk about the poet and the painter, about the creative process that binds these people together. ”
Ozoliņa intentionally shares in the Latvian Radio program “Kultūras rondo”.
Reini Zariņa was first heard by Ozoliņa in the Small Hall of Dzintari Concert Hall a couple of years ago. The next day he went to listen again: “It was the space I got there.” But now the actress and pianist, poet and painter have met in a joint creative dialogue.
About the values to be reminded
The collaboration of actress Lidija Pupure and pianist Agnese Egliņa will be presented to the audience in the beginning of September. The rehearsal process is still ahead for both artists. “Truly she is young, beautiful, energetic, sparkling, talented, temperamental. I think that Zenta Mauriņa would like her, because Zenta Mauriņa was like that too, ”the actress praises the actress, waiting for the first meeting.

Pupure has chosen the works of the writer Zenta Mauriņa for the Canon of Dail as a small thank you to her teachers: “When we entered the theater, from a completely different system, these works were forbidden. But our teachers were very inspired, listened to all her works, lectures and tried to teach us all this, suggested looking for her books that had been taken out of circulation. I got these books from private libraries and reprinted them all.
I have lived with Zenta Mauriņa’s thoughts, essays, suggestions all my life. [..] I think these values need to be reminded today. ”
Aspazija’s creative work will also enrich the strong women’s concert program. The actress reminds that Aspazija’s ideas come from the time from which Zenta Mauriņa learned.
The viewer in the hall – a long fulfillment
Actress Olga Dreģe and pianist Edgars Cīrulis will start the new concert cycle on August 3. Of course, Dreģe’s colleagues Lilita Ozoliņa and Lidija Pupure are also waiting for the opening. There are other expectations that the whole team of “Dailes kanona” agree on – they are expectations of the spectator. “With an unusual feeling we are waiting for the spectator in the hall! In any case, it will be a huge experience for me. [..] It will be fantasy, ”reveals Ozolina.
“I would very, very much like that after this long break we look a little differently at art, theater.
Everything that we may still lack in this crazy time and also in the future to be given a breath of art, ”wishes Pupure.
The two actresses also face other attacks, for example, in productions not yet shown to the public “Smile” a “Zemdegas”.
