The South Sumatra Police Chief Opens Up About the Amazing Rp 2 T Grant from Akidi Tio

Polda South Sumatra (Sumsel) is still intensively examining two families of the deceased Akidi Tio related to the certainty of the IDR 2 trillion grant that they will hand over to the community for handling COVID-19.

The two people being examined were Akidi’s daughter, Heriyanti, and Akidi’s personal doctor, Dr. Hardi Darmawan.

Both were picked up by members of the Ditreskrimum South Sumatra Police from a bank office in Palembang at around 13.00 WIB using a black minibus.

After seven hours of inspection at around 20.20 WIB, Dr. Hari Darmawan left the South Sumatra Police Headquarters first using a black minibus. Meanwhile, Heryanti is still being investigated by the Investigation Team for General Crimes Sub-Directorate II.

Police Ask Origin of IDR 2 T Grant

The Director of General Criminal Investigation at the South Sumatra Police, Kombes Hisar Siallangan, said the two were being investigated for questioning regarding the certainty of the Rp 2 trillion money because until now the money had not been available even though the disbursement was due.

“The money should have been there today but when we waited until 14.00 WIB the money was not in their Bank Mandiri Current Account, therefore we called them for clarification,” said Kombes Hisar as reported by the statement. Between, Monday (2/8/2021).

According to him, the status of the two people has not been confirmed because until now the General Criminal Investigation team is still investigating the information they provided. The police also asked Heryanti the origin of the grant funds.

“We are still investigating the funds, both their whereabouts and where they came from, whether they came from abroad or where we don’t know yet,” he said.

The motive for giving this fantastic fund is purely a personal wish from the family of the late Akidi Tio to help and relieve the affected people of South Sumatra. COVID-19.

“So far the motive is good personally to help, hopefully in the near future there will be a solution,” he said.

Police Chief Opens Voice

South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Eko Indra Heri asked all parties to hand over the handling of the case to the police. Because investigators from the Ditreskrim South Sumatra Police still questioning them.

“Just think positively, regarding the process later, the team is currently working,” said Inspector General Eko.

He emphasized that in this case he was only trying to try to distribute the kindness of a citizen who wanted to help overcome COVID-19 to the people of South Sumatra.

“I didn’t expect anything. I just thought positive (until now),” he said.

He emphasized that the presence or absence of these funds did not at all dampen the efforts of the South Sumatra Police together with the South Sumatra Provincial Government and other parties in tackling COVID-19. He said tackling COVID-19 is currently one of the priorities that must be resolved.

“I have good intentions, there are people who want to donate to South Sumatra, through me I will distribute them, please note that even if there are funds, they are not for me, they are only entrusted to the community,” he said.
