RADARDEPOK.COM, DEPOK JAYA – Anticipating the transition season that is vulnerable to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). The apparatus of Depok Jaya Urban Village, Pancoranmas Sub-district, conducted a socialization of the Lartic Monitoring Interpreter (Jumantik) in RW1.
The Lurah of Depok Jaya, Herman, explained that the current weather has the potential for the breeding of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Therefore, his party, together with the RT/RW and Jumantik Cadre, Depok Jaya Urban Village, work hand in hand in eradicating mosquito nests.
“In this month, we have done two jumantik socializations, and in the future it will become a routine activity,” he told Radar Depok, Monday (2/8).
Herman added that this activity was carried out at residents’ homes, maternity homes, and restaurants. Especially for restaurants, because on the sidelines serving must pay attention to cleanliness.
“We specialize in restaurants, because on the sidelines of serving, the seller must also pay attention to cleanliness,” he explained.
He hoped that people would always maintain the cleanliness of the environment where they live, so that things do not happen that can cause disease.
“We hope that with this Jumantik we can anticipate dengue fever, we can improve PHBS, so that we can return to a kind of mutual cooperation, for a clean environment,” he concluded. (rd/cr1)
