The man had booked a room at Sognefjellshytta, but had not arrived there on Monday morning.

Geir Rune Ekse in the Innlandet police district is the task leader. He says they now have the crew in place at Sognefjellshytta.

– We get rescue dogs, Oppland Red Cross, Parish Red Cross. Others are also on their way, says Ekse.

They will walk the path that the man should follow.

He says they will consider using a helicopter if they do not find anything within a short time.

The police have not yet come into contact with the man’s relatives.
