New Features For Twitter Spaces

Spaces platform live audio milik Twitter has been given a number of new features. Twitter says these features will make Spaces easier to share and find.

Now users will be able to directly create new tweets directly from Spaces which can directly include a link to the chat session and also provide a hashtag.

While it was previously possible for users to tweet while listening to a chat session in Spaces, having the composer live in the chat room will allow participants to more easily tweet about the conversation as it progresses.

For users on iOS, Twitter is also providing updates to its guest management controls that allow hosts to more easily see who is participating in the Space and who is asking to speak.

Reported detikINET from The Verge, Monday (8/2/2021) Twitter has finally added a new search feature to the Spaces tab which began testing in June.

Now instead of just a curated list of active Spaces, with users accessing the tab can also search for Spaces by title or name or hostname.

Twitter has been continuously updating Spaces since introducing competitor Clubhouse at the end of last year. Not too long ago Twitter added support for the web version of the feature and have started experimenting with allowing hosts to sell tickets to chat sessions.
