(General Acha) – On the occasion of the celebrations for the 139th anniversary of the city, which is commemorated on August 12, the Municipality of General Acha announced the arrival of two top-level artistic shows at the Padre Buodo municipal theater.
The pandemic and the restrictions do not allow the traditional parade to be carried out on Campos Street where local institutions walk the route showing their clothes and the people who participate in the year. Nor can you set up the stands in Plaza Belgrano that neighbors visit to buy products made by artisans and entrepreneurs in the city.
As a result of this, the municipality decided to continue with the virtual festivities and during this month it will be possible to see different official platforms of the municipality, bands play their repertoires in emblematic places of the town and, in addition, this year it was invested to bring two shows of first level to the municipal theater.
On Sunday August 15 at 8 pm, the cumbia singer “El Polaco” will perform for 204 people, places allowed by 50% capacity. The artist from the province of Buenos Aires was summoned by the Directorate of Culture to offer a cumbia show with his best songs.

This new experience invites the viewer to a plane flight, to live a unique sensory journey, which will begin even before entering the room, where they will be received by a member of the airline’s crew. The work, adapted in times of social distancing, allows the development of a complete and safe experience.
Through sounds, the story of Alberto is told, a blind musician who undertakes his journey back to Argentina after 40 years of exile in New York. From the beginning, the narration invites you to let yourself be carried away by the scenes that combine sounds of the plane about to take off and to accompany Alberto during 10 hours of uninterrupted flight.
As the trip progresses and with the imminent arrival in his native country, Alberto begins to remember different moments of his life in Buenos Aires. Through the sounds and aromas, he begins a passage through different environments that combine tender childhood scenes, the birth of love, his passion for music, the difficult decision to settle in a foreign country, and the disturbing challenge of reuniting with his last. Thanks to the resources of technology, and an attractive script, the Blind Theater proposes that spectators close their eyes to open their imagination.
