Ho Chi Minh City strives to quickly commission four resuscitation centers

At City International Hospital under the Hoa Lam group, Nguyên Van Nên and Nguyên Thanh Long praised him for volunteering to participate in the treatment of patients with COVID-19. The Minister of Health has decided to establish a 500-bed resuscitation center there for COVID-19 patients. He also decided to immediately distribute 50 ventilators to this center. Starting Monday, August 2, City International Hospital begins welcoming COVID-19 patients.

The delegation also visited the No. 16 field hospital which is currently taking nearly 300 COVID-19 patients. His staff are making efforts to quickly establish a 500-bed intensive care center with ventilators to treat severe cases. Minister Nguyên Thanh Long asked the Special Permanent Department of the Ministry of Health in the South to immediately provide 200 ventilators to the No. 16 field hospital and requested that the intensive care center be established within the next 48 hours.

Then, the delegation went to check the progress of the establishment of intensive care centers at the N ° 13 and N ° 11 field hospitals. The secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and the Minister of Health have asked the units concerned and these hospitals to speed up work so that by Thursday August 5, these two intensive care centers begin to receive serious cases.
