Harun Masiku is a suspect in the alleged bribery case related to the PAW (Inter-Time Alternation) affairs of the deceased member of the DPR from the PDIP, Nazarudin Kiemas. If you follow the rule of majority vote under Nazarudin, his successor will be Riezky Aprilia.
However, Aaron Days allegedly trying to bribe former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan in order to become PAW Nazarudin. The KPK also suspects that the PDIP DPP wants to propose Harun.
There are four suspects named in this case. Besides Harun and Wahyu, there are Agustiani Tio Fridelina, who is known to be a former member of the Election Supervisory Body and plays a role as Wahyu’s confidant; and Saeful, who was only referred to by the KPK as private.
Harun Masiku is somewhere. On the other hand, other suspects have been tried, even the bribe recipient, namely the former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan, has been executed at the Kedungpane Prison in Semarang on June 17, 2021. Wahyu will serve a prison sentence of 7 years.
In this case, Wahyu Setiawan and former Bawaslu member Agustiani Tio Fredelina were found guilty of receiving SGD 19 thousand and SGD 38,350 or equivalent to Rp 600 million from Saeful Bahri. The bribe was given so that Wahyu could try to get the KPU to approve the PAW application for the member of the DPR for the South Sumatra Dapil I, namely Riezky Aprilia, to Harun Masiku.
Harun Masiku Entered DPO Then Red Notice Interpol
Searched and not found, Harun Masiku was then included in the wanted list (DPO) since January 20, 2020.
“It’s DPO,” said KPK chief Firli Bahuri at the time.
Now Harun Masuki is also wanted through red notice Interpol. In addition, the KPK continues to carry out tracking efforts. The KPK, said Ali, has even collaborated with various parties in serious efforts to hunt down people Aaron Days.
“The latest information we received is that Interpol has indeed issued a red notice on behalf of DPO Harun Masiku,” said Ali Fikri, to reporters, Friday (30/7/2021).
“KPK continues to work and is seriously trying to find and arrest the suspect HAR who has previously been designated as a KPK DPO in the corruption case for interim replacement of DPR members. Efforts to track down the KPK are also continuing to be carried out by cooperating with the parties, Bareskrim Polri, Director General of Immigration Kemenkumham, and NCB Interpol ,” he added.
