“Fire truck / turntable ladder Scania P124GB8X2, built in 2000”: This is the name of the fire truck that has been in use for 20 years. The current range also includes four boat trailers, large devices such as an Iseki SG173 large area mower, built in 2003, small devices such as an Alpego TA earth auger, built in 1995, trucks, small tractors, plows, lawn mowers, spreaders and much more, right through to classics such as refuse collection vehicles. They can all be viewed on August 2nd and 3rd from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They are on the grounds of the Simmering towing group at Jedletzbergerstrasse 1.
The city expressly points out to interested parties that these are vehicles and devices which, due to their technical condition, are no longer suitable for intensive urban use. All vehicles have not been officially checked and are in need of repair. She therefore recommends that you examine them personally. As a rule, the discarded offers are used as spare parts dispensers.
The submission of offers and sales are strictly regulated
The sale expires according to a specified process. Anyone interested in the fire brigade’s turntable ladder vehicle, for example, must have submitted their offer to the MA 48 office in a sealed envelope with the offer number, name and address of the bidder by August 9th, 1 p.m. at the latest, or sent it by post. The forms for the offer are available at the viewing appointments – as well as technical information about the vehicles and devices.
The bid is accepted after the public offer has been submitted to the best bidder. The sale takes place within 14 days after the highest bidder has been informed. If there is no offer corresponding to the value of the vehicle, the vehicle will not be sold. Two more dates are planned for this year: on October 4th and 5th and on November 8th and 9th.
