TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Issuer of banking, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. or BCA, plans to do a stock split with a ratio of 1:5.
Rapat Direksi & Komisaris BCA PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) pada tanggal 29 Juli 2021 telah menyetujui aksi korporasi stock split dengan rasio 1 saham lama menjadi 5 saham baru.
Nilai nominal per unit saham BBCA saat ini adalah Rp 62,50, sedangkan nilai nominal per unit saham BBCA setelah stock split akan menjadi sebesar Rp 12,5.
Dengan aksi korporasi ini, total jumlah saham BBCA akan membesar dari 24,65 miliar saham menjadi 123,27 miliar saham.
BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja stated that the stock split was carried out due to observing the developments and dynamics of the domestic economy and market, including trading activities on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
“Through this corporate stock split, we hope that BBCA’s share price will be more affordable for retail investors, especially the demographic of young investors who are currently active in the stock exchange. This is also a form of our support to increase trading liquidity in the domestic capital market,” he said, Friday, July 30, 2021.
