China is still the leader of the Tokyo OS medal list

China has overtaken the United States in terms of the number of medals won at the Tokyo Olympics, and still holds the lead in the medals table.

Chinese athletes have won 46 medals in Tokyo – 21 gold, 13 silver and 12 bronze awards.
