AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT is AMD’s new dedicated mid-range graphics card and was made official this Friday. The new GPU will be the most affordable of the RX 6000 range and promises to compete with the Nvidia RTX 3060, and AMD even proclaims that its new graphics outperform the competitor.
The arrival on the market of the new AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT is scheduled for the next 11th of August and its price is situated at $379 for the North American market.

AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT specs are indicated for mid-range gaming systems, but that doesn’t mean we’re looking at a respectable graphics card. It comes equipped with the Navi 23 GPU, and can reach 2359MHz at stable speeds, with a boost of up to 2589MHz.
This graphics card uses a 128-bit memory interface, with 8GB of super fast GDDR6 RAM, capable of reading up to 16Gbps. The GPU also has a bandwidth of 256GB/s and 32MB of cache.

AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT has ray tracing as its trump card and, according to AMD, is prepared for 1080p gaming sessions with very high refresh rates. Still, the graphics allows 8K image reproduction through its HDMI 2.1 input
On how the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT compares to its potential competitors in the market, AMD says that this graphic achieves results up to 15% higher than Nvidia’s RTX 3060 and more than doubles the performance of its predecessor, Radeon RX 5600 XT.

As for its availability, AMD announced that its new graphics card will only be available through its partners, which are ASRock, Asus, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX and Yeston.
