RETURN OF THE MASK IN MORBIHAN AND COTES-D’ARMOR
Due to the worsening health situation linked to Covid-19, the prefects of Morbihan and Côtes-d’Armor decided on Friday to extend the obligation to wear a mask in the two Breton departments.
In Morbihan, where there are particularly important seaside resorts such as Carnac or Quiberon, the protective mask must be worn “for anyone 11 years of age and over (…) in urban areas of coastal communities (…) and in agglomerations of municipalities with more than 5,000 inhabitants “, according to a press release from the prefecture. Wearing a mask is not however compulsory in large natural spaces and on the beach, specifies the prefecture.
Further north, in the Côtes-d’Armor, the prefect has decided “to extend this obligation to wear a mask to certain areas of the most touristy coastal towns from 9 am to 10 pm”, including Paimpol, Perros-Guirec, Bréhat, Erquy or Pléneuf-Val-André.
