Part 2: Practical applications of Ericksonian techniques

Hypnosis:

Induction and indirect suggestion techniques / Acceptance sequence / Open suggestion covering all possibilities / Dissociation techniques / Signaling / Questioning / Compound suggestion / Negative suggestion / Intercontextual suggestion / Non-verbal communication elements / Link and double link, paradox / Subjective distortion of time / Amnesia / Catalepsy / Levitation / Regression in age.

Acute and chronic pain:

Hypnotic approaches differentiated according to the type of pain, its origin, its topography, its temporal components, its circumstances of appearance, aggravation and / or relief.

This training is oriented on the practical applications of Ericksonian techniques; also for a better acquisition of these, demonstrations, collective exercises and in small groups will be proposed.

Part 3: Monitoring the implementation

Return to the “before training” questionnaire. Balance sheet.

Return on the short experience of putting into practice between the training modules. Reflection on the obstacles to implementation, discussion between professionals and improvement project.

The training consists of several stages: analysis of practices, updating of knowledge and monitoring of improvements.

During this training, working documents (translations, summaries of speeches, etc.) will be provided as well as a bibliography.

Video tapes of Milton H. Erickson, his students and various conferences will be available for viewing.

The video will intervene in the practical course of the exercises.

This internship constitutes a module of the University Diploma in Hypnosis and Pain Management. Each module of this diploma can be followed and validated separately, thus making it possible to obtain the diploma in 2 to 5 years. A University Pass’Compétences will be given at the end of each module and will allow you to follow the evolution of your personalized course.

This training constitutes an action to adapt and develop skills.

It gives rise to the issuance of a certificate of participation.

An evaluation at the end of the training measures trainee satisfaction as well as the achievement of training objectives (knowledge, skills, buy-in, confidence) according to levels 1 and 2 of the Kirkpatrick training effectiveness evaluation model.
