The public prosecutor of Antwerp confirms this on Friday after undercover investigation by Dutch journalist Sven van der Meulen in collaboration with the Belgian newspaper. The last news.
To lure the actor, everything was staged. Van der Meulen pretended to be a pedophile on a public chat site, so that he subsequently managed to contact the actor. During an appointment in the lobby of an Antwerp hotel, the actor, who had large and small roles in productions of Studio 100, VTM, VRT and Disney for the past twenty years, told candidly about his sexual experiences with young children. For example, how he would have had sex with boys of barely 14 years old, how he went several times to a nudist beach to spy on families with young children and how he would exchange his own children with ‘like-minded’ if he ever became a father.
During that conversation, he also revealed to Van der Meulen that he was known and that he mainly played in children’s series. “Some know me, yes. That might make it easier.”
Evidence
The actor made many more revelations. But to actually get him arrested, evidence was needed. And so Van der Meulen proposed to arrange a 10-year-old boy for him. The actor did not decline that invitation. The man showed up for the appointment on July 11, but of course the 10-year-old boy was not present. Because the actor was at the door of the hotel room and therefore clearly intended to go on a date with a 10-year-old child, the investigative journalist decided together with The last news to transfer all information to the court.
That happened on July 19. The public prosecutor of Antwerp then opened a judicial investigation into alleged child abuse and the possible rape of a minor.

Last Friday, the actor was arrested and a house search was carried out. A number of items were seized. According to information from The last news the man would have admitted that they were his statements, but that it was pure ‘bragging’.
