FC Barcelona and world football star Neymar have filed several legal disputes.
The Spanish top club announced that “various labor and civil law disputes with the Brazilian player Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior were settled out of court and amicably”. An agreement to end the four clashes had been signed with the Paris Saint-Germain striker, who was on the hunt for goals for the Catalans between 2013 and 2017, it said.
According to media reports, lawyers from both sides had been negotiating for months. Details of the agreement were not disclosed by the club in the short notice. However, the specialist journals “Marca”, “Mundo Deportivo” and other Spanish media reported on Monday that Barça was ready to give up financial claims totaling almost 17 million euros if the player waived claims totaling a good 47 million euros in return .
