Actor Hero Muller, the voice of Cookie Monster, passed away

Actor Hero Muller has passed away at the age of 83. This reports VoiceConsult, an agency for voice actors for which Muller worked.

He has starred in dozens of films and television series throughout his career. In the late 1960s, he made his TV debut as a chef in the series Floris by director Paul Verhoeven. He also asked him for roles in films like Keetje Tippel, Soldier of Orange in The Fourth Man. Muller also worked on radio plays for the AVRO.

Muller also had roles in television series such as The sun in the house, On the way to Tomorrow, Zoop in The House of Anubis. In addition, he lent his voice to, among others, Cookie Monster in sesame street and the Fairytale Tree of the Efteling.

Doctor Deen

RTV North writes that Muller continued to act into old age. In recent years he could still be seen in series such as Cops Maastricht in Doctor Deen. One of his last major projects was the film The Peerd of Uncle Loeks by director Steven de Jong. In it, Muller played the narrator of the story.

Hero Muller was the father of actor Peter Paul Muller.
