The PSdeG of Tomiño has publicly denounced what they describe as “opacity” of the local government in several points discussed in the last plenary session, mainly in the management of a bank loan. “The opacity of the BNG government is surprising given the importance and significance of the points discussed and approved,” they say in a statement. “Among others, a modification of credits that will suppose a credit supplement of € 1,000,000 euros that will be financed with a bank loan, to pay, 14 years later, the construction of the public library”, they add.
On the other hand, they recall that in the session the specific modification n ° 9 of the PXOM was initially approved. “The obscurantism on this issue is more surprising, since there is public exposure as appropriate, but it was not reported on any channel of the City Council despite the fact that it affects a lot of the neighborhood.”
On the other hand, the socialist spokesperson, Violeta Santiago, took the capital gains tax ordinance in full and asked the reasons why the neighborhood is receiving exorbitant receipts for inheritances. “We are talking about many thousands of euros in this current pandemic situation, payments that many families cannot afford and with total ignorance about this unfair and disproportionate municipal tax,” said the socialist spokesperson.
