KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Some of you must have often heard the term long Covid. Long covid or long-term covid is a condition where a Covid-19 survivor has been declared negative and is not contagious but still has various symptoms or complaints.
According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a person can be said to have long Covid if they still experience complaints for up to 4 weeks or more after being first infected with the virus that causes Covid-19.
The types of complaints experienced by a long covid patient can be very diverse. The number of complaints related to long covid that have been reported so far has even reached 200 types which can affect almost all parts of the body.
