216 new cases of COVID-19, 1.37% of those tested, 53 were cured





216 are the newly diagnosed with COVID-19 persons in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours. This is 16 cases more than yesterday.

The tests performed for 24 hours are a total of 15 749, of which 4430 by PCR and 11319 – antigenic.

Newly infected represent 1.37% of the samples taken. This is shown by the Unified Information Portal.

424 295 are the total confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in our country, of which 7 702 are active. 398,388 were cured, of which 53 were registered in the last 24 hours.

The total number of patients with a proven coronavirus infection who are hospitalized is 754. 79 of them are in intensive care units.

The doses of the vaccines against COVID-19, administered in our country so far, are a total of 2,001,777. During the past 24 hours, 12,975 of them have been administered.

The death toll in which a coronavirus infection was confirmed was 18,205. Two people died in the last 24 hours.

In one area there is not a single registered case – Kardzhali.
